With SHL playoffs and the Blackhawk Cup State Tournament underway, we are proud to announce the 2016 Barrington Broncos Spring Hockey Development Program! Open to current 8th graders in the Barrington 220 School District, as well as freshmen, sophomores, and juniors at BHS, the spring program is a great opportunity for players to get familiar with the coaches, systems, and their future classmates. 8th graders are strongly encouraged to participate if they intend to play for Broncos teams in the fall.
The 2016 Spring Hockey Development Program runs from March 30th through May 25. Teams will participate in the West Meadows High School Spring League (8-10 games), with additional scrimmage game possibilities against Scholastic Hockey League High School teams.
*Wednesdays 7:10-8:10pm and 8:20-9:30pm; alternating Varsity and JV team practices and system development
*Fridays 3:50-4:50pm (Varsity) and 5:00-6:00pm (JV) will alternate weekly between Skill Development/Power Skates/Goalie Instruction and 3 on 3 Small Area ‘Game Days’
*Sundays 6:00-7:40pm - Home Game League slots
Evaluations for spring teams will be held at the Crystal Ice House on:
Monday, March 14 from 5-6pm and Tuesday, March 15 from 5-6pm.
