About Us

Welcome to the Home of the Barrington Broncos Hockey Club

The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club (“BBHC”) strives to provide students in good standing at Barrington High School an opportunity to play hockey at the highest level available for their age group, while simultaneously representing their high school and fellow students through athletics. BBHC will provide its players with the highest level of training available in any program. The BBHC will focus on developing a feeder program and a varsity program that can compete with any high school or midget program.
The combination of development through teamwork, respect and commitment, in addition to the dedication it will take to compete effectively at these high levels of competition, will develop character and skills in BBHC players that can be used throughout their lives. High school hockey in Illinois is a club sport organized under the American Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI). The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club was organized in 1974 and is affiliated as a club sport with the Barrington High School. The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club is a separate organization responsible for its own revenues and expenditures and does not receive any monetary assistance from the high school. Varsity letters and Junior Varsity awards are provided by the same company that supplies the high school and are awarded at our annual year end banquet.
